Honolulu, HI- Construction Inspector -
HDR Engineering is in search of an experienced Construction Inspector to join our Honolulu, HI office. This position will be responsible for the inspection of a variety of water and wastewater pipeline construction projects including cured-in-place pipe installation (CIPP), and general civil construction activities. Day to day duties include: monitoring and documenting the construction process and keeping accurate daily logs. This position will be representing the interests of a major public agency in a construction oversight role. This position may receive direction from Construction Management staff on either the HDR or client side. Position requires familiarity with a broad spectrum of construction materials, methods and processes.

Job Description
    * Obtain and record field data and compile field reports
    * Interpret specifications, working drawings & conveys intent to contractor
    * Responsible for testing coordination
    * Records daily installed construction quantities to review payment request in terms of progress
Requirements
    * Associate degree in construction/ construction management with 0 years experience, or:
    * Associates degree in any other field with 1-2 years experience, or:
    * High School Diploma with 3-5 years experience
